Overview
Meeting IQ is Product Forge’s AI‑powered meeting companion. Invite our smart bot—Smith—to any Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet session and let it:
Listen silently in real‑time (audio only)
Extract product‑relevant signal: user stories, action items, epics, follow‑up emails, research tasks, and more
Publish structured insights back into Product Forge so your team can move straight from conversation to execution
No special plan is required during beta; every active Product Forge workspace has access.
Quick‑Start Checklist
Grant one‑time permission for Smith to join video calls when prompted.
Choose how to capture a meeting:
Run your call – Smith appears as “Product Forge” in the participant list. Hosts must click Admit if a lobby/waiting room is enabled.
Review insights – As soon as the call ends, a Meeting card appears at /meetings showing processing status. Click the card to open the Meeting Detail page and explore summaries, stories, and action items.

Smith is silent—no interruptions or prompts.
Display name: Product Forge (with the PF logo avatar).
Audio‑only recording; video frames are not captured.

Processing – Most meetings finish in 1–2× call length.Stand‑ups and short huddles process in under a minute.
Meeting Detail Page – View:
Templates – The system auto‑applies a template if the invite title matches known formats (Stand‑up, Demo, One‑on‑One, etc.). Admins can create custom templates in Workspace Settings › Meetings.
Editing – Click any story or summary block to refine wording. Saves are versioned and will inform future AI suggestions.

Zapier Connector – Route stories or action items to Asana, Linear, or Slack.
API / Webhook (beta) – Retrieve raw JSON for custom workflows. Contact support for access.

Storage – Audio and transcripts are encrypted at rest in our US‑based AWS environment. Default retention: 30 days (workspace admins can shorten or extend).
Data deletion – Delete any meeting manually from the Meeting Detail page or set auto‑purge rules in Settings.
